The location of hotels and the conference center in The Cracow Old Town
AccommodationGeneral RemarksThe organizers have made a preliminary booking of a number of rooms in some hotels nearby the conference place for the period from 2nd to 10th of July. Some special rates has been negotiated for the conference delegates. Accomodation can be arranged in the hotels listed below with a password "LHC Cracow". The booking will be opened in March 2006. We call this way of reservations as "type A".We advise you to make the reservation well in advance because Cracow is very attractive as a tourist place, especially in July. Another possibility of accommodation in Cracow is using the University Guest Houses and Students Hostels, which are situated in a slightly farther distance from the conference center or have a little bit less standard (see description). The latter hotels should be booked via the conference secretariat (reservation type B). How to bookReservation for the hotels indicated by type A should be made directly to the hotels using the contacts provided in this page. You should follow the hotel's rules of payment and cancellation policy as well.Reservation for the hotels indicated by type B (the nickname "A" or "B" here have nothing in common with the hotel standard) will be made by the organisers with the participants contacting the conference secretariat phlhc@ifj.edu.pl. In order to confirm reservation you should send to the conference secretariat a credit card number wchich will be used as a deposit for the first day of your stay in case of no show. You should choose the type of accommodation during your registration for the conference. Any changes to the registration form should be made through secretariat. Accommodation can only be guaranteed if booking is made by May 31st at the latest. After that date you still have the possibility to make a reservation but totally on your own . Pricelist according to the rate of 2005. 1 Euro = 4 PLN. You should expect some local fee at amount of about 0.4 Euro per day in addition to the room price. |
